It started as three friends jamming for fun.
Karan, Jaskaram, and Altaf loved music and used to jam together at their friend Sakshi’s place, just for the joy of it. At some point they realized: if the three of them loved jamming this much, other people out there would too. So instead of keeping it to themselves, they decided to build a culture around it - open it up, give it a name, and give other music lovers the same space to jam, connect, and be heard.
That living-room jam session is how Toronto Jamming Culture was born.
TJC’s first official jam
What began as a private hangout is now a recurring, open stage for Toronto’s music scene - built for anyone who loves to play, sing, or just be in the room.
- No pay-to-play, open to all
